Your intake needs are different on heavy training days than they are on light days or rest days. Calculating calorie needs and adjusting macronutrients each and every day is not practical, nor is it sustainable/desirable.
By estimating your intake of carbohydrates, proteins, and antioxidants (the color part of your diet), you can meet your fueling requirements without micromanaging your diet.
